Titra Customs House

Located right on the docks in town, the Titra Customs House is basically the law of the island. Sure, the Duke has all the soldiers, but he cares more for their perceived might than about the flow of money through his little harbour. That job falls to the Customs inspectors.

They're undermanned and underfunded but zealous in their search for contraband flowing through, especially the illegal export of moonstone, which is mined on the western shore. In the end it's the Customs House, not the duke, that decides who is welcome on the island. Xue Ji Xin is the head inspector these days and she takes her job very seriously.
