Merchant sailing ships are seen all over the seas of Heluso and Milonda. Usually they're square-rigged two-masters but three masts is not uncommon. Ob-Lobs also do strange things involving extra sails attached to odd places, or triangular sails or other things that don't make much sense. The crews of these ships are usually number in the 12-25 range.

There are a few variations on the theme, as reflected in the stats below. Versions with a Difficulty of 3 can travel upriver into the continents, while the Difficulty 4s stay on the sea. Over long distances these ships average about 2 miles/hour.

The Helusian Spirit is a Well-Armed Merchant ship.
