Fine: Minimum equal to the damages, but can be double or triple. If the accused is unable to pay the fine he goes to the Tombs until his family can pay the debt.
Flogging: Usually between 1 and 6 lashes, but a dozen or more isn't unheard of.
Hard Labour: This can be months or years of working on farms or clearing the jungles.
Imprisonment: The worst of all sentences. There are only two places to go: The Tombs and The Hulks. The Tombs are dank diseased places with subterranean predators that come to snatch screaming meals. The Hulks are worse.
