It's a hard life trying to compete against the rats of the sea. Ob-Lob ships are better than everyone else's and they'll pirate you six ways from sevensong if you try to compete. The best way to eke out a living is to stay low to the ground and hope no one notices you.

Titra
The Duchy of Titra
Titra is a small island, unaffiliated with the Ob-Lobs. The Duke lives in a castle up above the main town of Titra where he trains his small number of troops incessantly and parades them around the island so the Ob-Lobs who frequent the port don't get any ideas of seizing the (surprisingly fertile) fields.
The Titra Customs House
Titra's Duke doesn't care too much about the trade that goes through. That job falls to the Customs inspectors. They're undermanned and underfunded but zealous in their search for contraband flowing through, especially the illegal export of moonstone, which is mined on the northern shore.
Mitotanitututami
Mitotanitututami is a minor Ob-Lob family (the name is often shortened to "the Mitos" by people who speak Imperial). Cut throat and competitive, they've fallen on some hard times recently and have been reduced to operating out in the not fantastically lucrative seas around the Truil Wastes. They dominate the Icy Sea in this region which includes the Duchy of Titra.
