Summary
Bloodsalt was accidentally formed in the aftermath of the Great Green Fire. It started as a temporary encampment for migrant workers trying to repair the damage done to the jungle. It soon became a ghetto for Ob-Lobs and Truils. Within the walls violence rules the day.
Buildings
Most are shoddily built and in poor repair, cobbled together from wood scraps and broken stone, despite being only a few years old.
People
Ob-Lobs and Truils tend to make up most of the people. Many are scarred from exposure to dangerous chemicals or constant violence.
Roads
There are no true streets, just bare earth with buildings arrayed at random and alleys between.
Law and Order
Neither the Watch nor the Sea Lord's Guard patrol Bloodsalt. Order is maintained by the Redblade Militia, a bunch of bullies and sadists, who enforce a law of the strong dominating the weak.
Other Elements
Dry soil crusted with salt and stained dark red. Hidden sinkholes of dangerous chemicals. Noxious smells and fumes issue from the Reclamation Project compound. Obscene graffiti covers the wall separating Bloodsalt from the Eastern District.
